City, University of London and Memory Lane Games were semi-finalists in the Longitude Prize on Dementia. Our project focused on improving the quality of life for people living with dementia (and for their carers) through playing games with a personalised reminiscence platform. We ran co-design workshops to explore and improve the usability of the platform and utilised co-designed gamification and AI to learn to adapt content/challenge for each individual living with dementia.
